MakinaRocks has secured a project to develop an intelligent GOP operation support system using its defense-specialized AI platform, K-AIP. The project, part of the 100 Defense Industry Innovation Companies initiative, has a budget of approximately 4.4 billion Korean won and a duration of 35 months, concluding in October 2028.

MakinaRocks will lead the project in collaboration with the National Defense University, Army Officer Academy, and Inha University. The system aims to enhance GOP operations by replacing human judgment with real-time AI support, which will analyze various battlefield data such as surveillance footage and communication reports.

Key AI models will include the 'Battlefield Situation Awareness Model' and the 'Response Recommendation Model,' designed to assist commanders in decision-making. This initiative is expected to streamline the OODA Loop process and reduce the manual burdens on military personnel.
