Twelve Estonian defense companies have been awarded €1.8 million in project development support, the largest sum allocated to date. This funding comes from the Ministry of Defense's 2025 defense industry development competition.

The competition aims to enhance Estonia's defense capabilities and maintain international competitiveness. Over the years, the ministry has supported 85 projects with approximately €8 million in total funding.
