About 45 families have returned to their homes in Tanjay City, Negros Oriental, following clashes between government forces and the New People's Army (NPA). Brig. Gen.

Jason Jumawan assured local officials of residents' safety. No evacuees remain at the temporary shelter, and assistance has been provided to the displaced. Military operations continue to locate NPA remnants responsible for the recent violence, which resulted in one soldier's death and another's injury.
