80 Militants Surrender Weapons to Nigerian Army in Cross River State

Eighty militants from Akpabuyo LGA in Cross River State surrendered their weapons to the Nigerian Army on January 16, 2026, as part of an amnesty program. Led by ThankGod Ebikontei and John Isaac, the groups handed over firearms, including AK-47 rifles and explosives, and were subsequently transferred to the state government's Rapid Response Team for profiling.
