Eighty-eight individuals were injured in a loco train collision at the Pipalkoti tunnel of the Vishnugad-Pipalkoti hydropower project in Uttarakhand on December 31. The accident involved a train carrying workers and another transporting construction materials, with no serious injuries reported. Most of the injured were treated at local hospitals, and the project, which will generate 444 megawatts of electricity, is set for completion next year.
