The 8th Infantry Division conducts intensified operations against the Eastern Visayas Regional Party Committee (EVRPC), resulting in the neutralization of five Communist-NPA-Terrorists (CNTs) and the seizure of eight firearms. Key engagements occurred in Northern Samar and Leyte, with troops responding to civilian reports of coercion against farmers.
