US venture capital firm 8VC has made its first defense-tech investment in Israel, contributing $8 million to Litevision, a startup developing electro-optical cameras for small drones. Litevision was founded by former members of the IDF Intelligence Corps and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems.

Other investors in this round include Kinetica, Q-Fund, and 10D. Kinetica is raising a $150 million fund for investments in Israeli defense companies, led by veterans from the Israeli military and backed by institutional investors from Abraham Accords countries.
