On January 23, 955 families in the Primero de Marzo neighborhood of Maracaibo gained access to piped methane gas for the first time in 38 years, following a community project financed by Pdvsa Gas and local authorities. The initiative involved the installation of 6.5 kilometers of distribution lines, connecting 675 homes to the gas service network. Local officials highlighted the importance of government support in addressing community needs.
