AccelerComm has joined Airbus UpNext SpaceRAN to develop advanced 5G Non-Terrestrial Network capabilities, focusing on satellite networks. The collaboration aims to enhance global connectivity for commercial and defense applications by improving throughput and reducing latency, while also working towards future 5G NTN standards and cost-effective orbital data transmission. This initiative is part of the Air!5G project and is supported by the French government.
