AccuPower has introduced 'Natec Home', the first sodium-ion home storage system developed in Austria. After acquiring 70% of AccuPower in 2022, Moons GmbH is supporting the launch, which targets private photovoltaic systems and emergency power applications.

The storage units can be combined for commercial use, with further industrial solutions planned for later in 2026. Sodium-ion technology offers improved safety and sustainability, with a lifespan of 20-25 years and operational capacity at extreme temperatures.
