The American Center for Manufacturing & Innovation (ACMI) has acquired the world's first AMCM M 8K additive manufacturing machine from EOS GmbH to enhance U.S. aerospace and defense manufacturing. This partnership aims to improve domestic production efficiency, utilizing the machine's large build volume and high-precision capabilities to streamline the development of critical components. ACMI plans to integrate commercial, governmental, and academic resources to facilitate the transition from research to qualified manufacturing.
