ADNOC Gas has signed a $2.5 to $3 billion LNG supply agreement with Hindustan Petroleum for a 10-year term, providing 0.5 million tonnes per annum of LNG sourced from its Das Island facility. This contract, formalized during UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's visit to India, solidifies ADNOC Gas' position as a key LNG supplier to India, which has become the UAE's largest LNG customer. By 2029, ADNOC Gas aims to operate 15.6 MTPA of LNG capacity, with 3.2 MTPA already contracted to Indian companies.
