Aeromotors Secures €467,500 from Front Ventures to Expand Drone Motor Production
Ukrainian drone motor manufacturer Aeromotors has raised €467,500 (SEK 5.1 million) from Swedish investment company Front Ventures. The investment will enable Aeromotors to expand its factory, increase production capacity, and establish new manufacturing agreements within the EU.
Front Ventures, focused on the defense and fintech sectors, aims to support Aeromotors in scaling production from 10,000 to 60,000 electric motors per month. The investment is strategically important for Front Ventures as it provides access to European-manufactured drone engines for its joint venture Drönarfabriken Scandinavian X.
Front Ventures has also initiated discussions with potential buyers in Ukraine and Sweden for the expanded output. The firm plans to invest $2-4 million in defense startups in 2026, emphasizing unmanned robotic systems and drone components.
