Aethon Energy Management LLC has formed a Global Strategic Alliance with Mitsubishi Corporation to collaborate on energy transition and infrastructure projects, including LNG, CCUS, and geothermal energy. As part of the agreement, Mitsubishi will finance projects and purchase Aethon's US gas and pipeline assets for $5.2 billion, contributing to Aethon's total enterprise value of $7.5 billion, with Aethon retaining the right to buy back up to 25% of its assets.
