AF Gruppen to Execute NOK 400 Million Rehabilitation of Bjølsegrøvatn Dam for Statkraft in Kvam

Statkraft Energi has plans to enter a NOK 400 million contract with AF Gruppen for the rehabilitation of the Bjølsegrøvatn dam in Kvam, pending final investment approval. The project will involve replacing the existing dams with a new concrete structure, along with the construction of an access road and tunnel, with construction slated to begin in spring 2026 and completion expected by 2029. AF Gruppen will leverage its expertise in hydropower and infrastructure for this upgrade.
