AK Party Unveils Roadmap for Turkic Cooperation and Turkcoin Initiative
The Justice and Development Party (AK Party) has announced a comprehensive roadmap aimed at enhancing cooperation among Turkish states across political, economic, and cultural dimensions. The 198-page document outlines objectives to elevate intra-Turkish trade beyond $100 billion, facilitated by the proposed Turkcoin and the establishment of a central bank forum.
It promotes the creation of common e-commerce platforms, joint arbitration centers for commercial disputes, and a Turkish development bank to support strategic projects like the Trans-Caspian gas pipeline. The strategy includes forming a Turkish World Energy Agency, advancing digital economy initiatives, and revitalizing Silk Road tourism.
Additionally, it proposes security cooperation measures, including a joint defense industry union and counterterrorism center. The framework aims to enhance diplomatic visibility for Northern Cyprus and coordinate major infrastructure projects while establishing a Turkish World Vision Council to ensure effective implementation.
