The Government of Alberta is investing $28 million through the TIER program to support six projects aimed at reducing carbon emissions and enhancing energy efficiency. The projects include technologies for pipeline safety, renewable natural gas production, and methane reduction from agriculture. If successful, these initiatives are expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 72,000 tonnes annually and generate $166.5 million in GDP by 2027.
