Almaguin Data Proposes 2MW AI Data Center in Northern Ontario, Canada
NATURAL GASDATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTURE
Almaguin Data plans to develop a 2MW AI data center in Ontario's Hwy. 520 Industrial Park, with a potential expansion to 10MW. Initial investment is estimated at CA$5-7 million, targeting completion by Q2 2027.
The project could take three to five years with a total investment of CA$15-20 million. Hydro One has confirmed available capacity, but township officials are reviewing noise and other impacts.
