Alstom has secured a €500 million contract with Landesanstalt Schienenfahrzeuge Baden-Württemberg (SFBW) for 26 Coradia Max double-decker trains, with maintenance extending until 2055. Deliveries are expected between mid-2028 and the end of 2028, following an option exercised from a previous contract for 130 trains signed in May 2022.
