Amit Kashyap has been appointed as a Member of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Appellate Tribunal for Himachal Pradesh for a four-year term, following approval from the central government. A retired Indian Administrative Service officer, Kashyap has held key roles in industries and tourism and is recognized for his contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic. His appointment was confirmed after an interview by a selection committee led by the Chief Justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court.
