Angola has officially begun construction of the Luena-Saurimo railway line, a 260-kilometer project aimed at enhancing trade in the eastern region. The initiative, awarded to Odebrecht Angola, follows a demining operation and is part of the National Master Plan for Transport, supported by a budget of over $1.16 billion authorized by President Joo Lourenço. The ceremony was attended by key government officials, including the Minister of Transport and the Minister of Defense.
