A Point-in-Time survey conducted by the Appalachian Regional Coalition on Homelessness (ARCH) in Bristol, Tennessee, has revealed a nearly doubled rate of homelessness compared to last year. The survey, which aims to assist in funding allocation for unhoused populations, highlighted contributing factors such as financial struggles, mental health issues, and addiction. ARCH and the Salvation Army are providing essential resources, including therapy and food, while also distributing gift bags with necessary supplies to those in need.
