Ares Management Acquires Data Center Sites in Virginia to Expand Digital Infrastructure

Ares Management Corporation announced two significant data center investments in the U.S. by its Ares Real Assets funds. The Ares Digital Infrastructure business has acquired a 314-acre site in Spotsylvania County, Virginia, along the I-95 South data center corridor.

This site will be developed by Ada Infrastructure, Ares' global data center platform, with phase one featuring two data center buildings totaling 200 MW of IT load capacity. Additionally, an Ares Real Estate fund has purchased two hyperscale data centers in Leesburg, Virginia, totaling 745,000 square feet and 165 MW of IT load capacity, fully leased under 15-year triple-net agreements. These transactions reinforce Ares' position in the growing New Economy sectors, benefiting from digital technology advancements and shifts in global supply chains.
