Army Advances Bell, Lockheed Martin, and M1 to Phase III of Flight School Next Competition
DEFENSE
The Army has selected Bell, Lockheed Martin, and M1 to advance to Phase III of the Flight School Next competition at Fort Rucker. These companies will submit full Commercial Solution Proposals, building on the previous selection for Phase II.
The program aims to train 900 to 1,500 rotary wing pilots annually over 26 years, utilizing a contractor-owned, contractor-operated model. Robinson will participate as a subcontractor. The Army expects to make an award by the end of September.
