Army Advances with $50B MAPS Contract Amidst Cancelled Awards by Other Agencies
DEFENSE
The U.S. Army is advancing with its $50 billion Marketplace for the Acquisition of Professional Services (MAPS) contract, despite recent cancellations by other federal agencies. This decision follows a March executive order from President Trump to consolidate contracts and combines existing IT and engineering service contracts into a new program set for a 10-year duration. An industry day is scheduled for January 28 at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, while the General Services Administration is also expanding its OASIS+ contract with new service domains.
