Arunachal Pradesh is set to enhance its hydropower capacity with 4.8 GW currently under construction, following the operational 1.2 GW. The state government has declared 2025-2035 as the 'Decade of Hydropower' and aims for 150 MW of rooftop solar capacity by 2030, alongside ongoing infrastructure improvements and women's empowerment initiatives. Recent MOUs worth Rs 6,375 crore were signed at the Rising North East Investors Summit 2025, focusing on green industries.
