Arx Robotics and Deutz are intensifying their collaboration, supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs, to establish an independent European defense industry. The partnership aims to produce unmanned, software-defined systems in response to the growing demand for scalable defense technology in Europe.

A strategic agreement was signed at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs, attended by Minister Katherina Reiche. Announced in October 2025, the partnership sees Arx Robotics providing software and robotics expertise, while Deutz contributes its experience in drive and production systems.

Together, they aim to create a scalable production platform to reduce reliance on non-European suppliers. Deutz is investing as a minority stakeholder in Arx Robotics, ensuring long-term collaboration. The partnership includes the development of an interface connecting Arx's Mithra OS AI platform with Deutz's drives, enhancing modular architecture for various drive types and mobile energy infrastructure.
