ASELSAN's KORKUT 140/35 air defense system demonstrated its effectiveness by successfully engaging a drone during dynamic field tests. Mounted on an 8x8 wheeled armored vehicle, the system features a twin 35 mm gun and is designed for close-in protection of moving units, with enhanced mobility and advanced radar capabilities for targeting small drones. Recent upgrades further improve its counter-UAS performance, positioning KORKUT as a viable solution against low-altitude drone threats.
