AeroVironment and CAL Analytics have launched a BVLOS airspace management facility at Springfield-Beckley Municipal Airport in Ohio, integrating AV_Halo COMMAND with CAL Analytics' AAM platform. This facility, developed in collaboration with the Air Force Research Laboratory and the Ohio Department of Transportation, aims to ensure safe BVLOS missions in shared airspace using FAA radar feeds, with plans to extend the system to connect Springfield and Columbus pending FAA approval.
