Babcock and Frankenburg Technologies have partnered to develop a containerized launch system for low-cost anti-drone missiles, enhancing maritime defenses. The initiative, led from the UK, aims to produce the Mark 1 missile—claimed to be the world's smallest guided missile—at a rate of 100 units per day in Estonia, with plans for scalable solutions to protect military personnel and infrastructure in Europe. Additionally, Frankenburg is collaborating with Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa to establish local manufacturing capacity for up to 10,000 missiles annually.
