BAE Systems' TERRA RAVEN™ is a non-kinetic infrared countermeasure system designed to protect ground vehicles from anti-tank guided missiles, enhancing mission completion rates and crew survivability. In November 2024, the US Army awarded BAE Systems a contract to advance its Multi-Class Soft Kill System (MCSKS), which aims to bolster defenses for ground combat vehicles.

Under this agreement, BAE will further develop the TERRA RAVEN and its laser-based Stormcrow system. The TERRA RAVEN is modular and can integrate with other vehicle protection technologies. It uses laser countermeasures to reduce reliance on kinetic interceptors, thereby conserving ammunition and minimizing collateral damage. The system is compatible with BAE Systems' 360 MVP Sensor™, which offers 360° situational awareness and threat detection capabilities, utilizing advanced imaging technology to identify and track potential threats in various conditions.
