BAE Systems Secures $98 Million in U.S. Navy Ship Repair Contracts in San Diego

BAE Systems has secured two contracts worth $98 million from the U.S. Navy for modernization and maintenance of the USS Kansas City and USS Stockdale, set to begin in May 2026. The $37 million contract for the USS Kansas City includes drydocking for underwater hull preservation, while the $61 million contract for the USS Stockdale focuses on hull preservation and reconditioning of the destroyer's superstructure. Both projects will be conducted at BAE's shipyard near Naval Base San Diego.
