Governors from Bali, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) signed a memorandum of understanding on November 25, 2025, to enhance regional cooperation and address climate challenges. The initiative aims to establish the Lesser Sunda Islands as a national tourism hub while leveraging renewable energy resources from NTB and NTT, and includes the development of a joint early warning system for natural disasters. Officially commencing in 2026, the collaboration focuses on sustainable tourism, transportation, and infrastructure to mitigate climate vulnerabilities.
