Bangchak and Noovoleum Sign Agreement for Ucollect Box Pilot to Collect Used Cooking Oil for SAF
Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited signed a Framework Agreement with Noovoleum for the Ucollect Box Pilot, aimed at collecting used cooking oil for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production. The agreement was signed by Bangchak's Narupan Suthamkasem and Noovoleum's Philippe Micone at Bangchak Phra Khanong Refinery on 11 December 2025.
The Ucollect Box unit is designed for convenience and safety, equipped with sensors to ensure oil quality meets SAF production standards and connects to the Ucollect application for incentive payments. The initiative will run alongside the 'Fry to Fly' project, with 5-10 Ucollect Boxes to be deployed across Bangkok starting March 2026. Bangchak's BiiC is focused on enhancing oil collection efficiency, reducing carbon emissions, and promoting a circular economy.
