The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council in Bangladesh is reviewing the Padma Barrage Project, which aims to enhance water management and irrigation, with a projected cost of Tk 50,443.64 crore and completion expected by June 2033. Additionally, a proposal for a 1,000-bed Bangladesh-China Friendship Hospital in Nilphamari, costing Tk 2,293 crore, is under consideration, with China providing a significant grant.
