BayWa r.e. Sells 46MW Floating Solar Project to Enerzjyk Skûlenboarch in Friesland

BayWa r.e. and its Dutch subsidiary GroenLeven have sold the 46MW Skûlenboarch floating solar project in Friesland to local cooperative Enerzjyk Skûlenboarch, the municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel, and the Friesland Clean Energy Fund. The 35-hectare installation will be the largest floating solar park in the Netherlands and will generate power for over 15,500 households. The cooperative will manage the project with support from the fund and municipality, which includes plans for local facilities like a mountain bike trail and fishing pier.
