Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has been awarded a contract by the Naval Science and Technological Laboratory (NSTL) under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) to develop an advanced Aquatic-Aerial System that combines unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) capabilities. The project, valued at ₹69,15,272, aims to enhance intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) operations for the Indian Navy, supporting the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative while addressing maritime threats in the Indian Ocean Region.
