BeHyPSy Project Develops Lightweight Air-Cooled Fuel Cell System for UAVs and Light Aircraft

FUEL CELL

The BeHyPSy project, led by the Centre for Fuel Cell Technology (ZBT), focuses on creating a lightweight, air-cooled fuel cell system for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and light aircraft weighing between 25 and 2,000 kg. Graebener manufactures titanium bipolar plates for this system.

The project aims to enhance reliability and reduce weight while adapting to air management challenges. The system will include a multi-phase electric motor powered by a multi-stack fuel cell, and Graebener also provides engineering services to ensure series production feasibility.
