BETA Technologies is developing the ALIA MV250, a hybrid electric aircraft for military logistics, with over $100 million in support from the US Air Force's AFWERX Agility Prime Program and a $300 million investment from GE Aerospace to enhance its operational range. Designed as an unmanned system capable of transporting up to 2,000 lbs of cargo, the ALIA MV250 aims to exceed 1,000 nautical miles in range, addressing limitations of pure battery systems. Additionally, BETA is adapting its technologies for the DARPA Manta Ray Program in collaboration with General Dynamics.
