Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has unveiled a scale model of its Ground Based Very-Ultra High Frequency (GBVU) Communication Jammer, designed for the Indian Air Force, at an event in Bangalore. This system, capable of intercepting and jamming signals within the 30-1,000 MHz range, is part of a INR 19.84 billion (USD 216 million) contract for specialized electronic warfare platforms. The jammer is mounted on an Ashok Leyland Stallion truck and integrates with the IAF's Integrated Air Command and Control System.
