Residents of Salakope and Amutsinu Agavedzi in Keta South Municipality are pleased with the progress of Phase II of the Blekusu Sea Defense Project, which aims to protect their communities from coastal erosion. The initiative, set to be completed by 2029, includes the construction of a sea wall and enhanced infrastructure for fishing and tourism, addressing long-standing environmental challenges. Awarded to Amandi Holding Limited, the project also plans to develop facilities such as fish markets and waste management systems to support local livelihoods and economic growth.
