Boston Launches Voting Phase for $2.2 Million Participatory Budgeting Initiative 'Ideas in Action'

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu has launched the voting phase for the participatory budgeting initiative 'Ideas in Action', enabling residents to allocate $2.2 million for community projects until February 15, 2026. Following the collection of over 1,200 ideas and five community forums, key proposals include initiatives for food access, immigrant support, and small business resources. Additional projects, such as rental assistance for at-risk youth, are also underway to enhance community support.
