Braddan Plant Hire has appointed Simon Ward as sales and hire manager effective December 15, 2025. Ward has a career spanning over 15 years in the powered access industry, beginning in 1989 with the British Army's Corps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.

He entered the aerial lift market in 1999 with Nationwide Platforms, eventually becoming area sales manager and later business development manager for the oil & gas sector. After leaving Nationwide in 2013, Ward held a business development role at Hire Station and served as general manager at APL aerial platforms before a brief tenure at Hubbway Plant Hire earlier this year.
