Brazil's gas production has risen sharply, reaching 194 million cubic meters per day in October 2025. However, infrastructure issues and high costs have limited the availability of gas for domestic consumption. As marketable supply is not expected to grow significantly and with limited pipeline imports, Brazil will continue to depend on LNG to address supply shortages.
