Bureau Veritas Malaysia and Straits Bio-LNG Pte Ltd have formed a strategic alliance to develop a sustainable bio-methane liquefaction facility in Muar, Malaysia, with operations expected to commence by the end of 2027. The collaboration aims to achieve ISCC EU certification and produce 250,000 tonnes of bio-LNG annually from sustainable biomass sources, addressing the increasing demand for bio-LNG in the shipping industry.
