Castelion, a California-based defense technology firm, has commenced construction on Project Ranger, a missile manufacturing plant in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, covering 1,000 acres. The facility, aimed at enhancing long-range strike manufacturing capacity, is expected to create over 300 jobs and contribute more than $500 million to the local economy over the next decade, making it the largest dedicated hypersonic manufacturing site in the U.S.
