Cellcentric has appointed Kai Wörner as Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director, effective January 2026, to enhance its fuel cell systems for heavy-duty vehicles. The joint venture, co-owned by Daimler Truck and Volvo Group, aims to lead in fuel cell manufacturing and support climate-neutral transportation by 2050. Wörner, who previously served as COO at AESC, joins a leadership team focused on leveraging the strengths of both parent companies and the Stuttgart location for research and development.
