Celloraa Energy Private Limited has announced a 1.2 GW TOPCon solar cell manufacturing project in Surat, Gujarat. The facility will utilize advanced German technology and aims to enhance India's photovoltaic value chain and reduce reliance on solar imports.

RENA Technologies will supply wet chemical processing systems for the project, which focuses on water efficiency and sustainable practices. The partnership was formalized on February 24, 2026, after an initial agreement at the TaiyangNews Solar Technology Conference. A Memorandum of Understanding for future collaboration is planned.
