CFE inaugurates 269-MW combined cycle power plant in Querétaro to support Bajío energy demands

The Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) inaugurated a 269-megawatt combined cycle power plant in San Pedro Escobedo, Querétaro, to meet the rising energy demands of the Bajío region. Named after independence hero Josefa Ortiz Téllez Girón, this facility will provide energy to over 4 million people and enhance Querétaro's generation capacity to 1,677 MW, with plans for further expansions to support industrial growth.
