Cheniere Begins Commissioning Fifth Train at Corpus Christi LNG Expansion

Cheniere Energy has commenced the commissioning of the fifth train at its Corpus Christi LNG expansion, which is expected to add 28.9 million t/yr of capacity by 2026. Emissions related to the startup process may begin on January 14, while the terminal recently averaged 430,000 t/week in exports. Cheniere is also seeking FERC approval to incorporate propane into the equipment for train 5.
